NetSuite's gradual removal of SuiteScript 1.0, and 2.0 SuiteScript versions. By the 2028.2 release, all custom scripts will need to use SuiteScript 2.1.

What’s Changing?
If your account uses older SuiteScript versions, now is the time to identify affected scripts, determine whether they need to be converted or can be retired, and plan for testing and implementation.
Scripts that may require review include:
- SuiteScript 1.0
- SuiteScript 2.0
- Scripts using the @NApiVersion 2.0 or 2.x annotation
Some 2.0 and 2.x scripts may work with the 2.1 runtime after testing and an annotation update. SuiteScript 1.0 scripts will need to be converted to 2.1.

Option 2: Assess Your Environment Yourself
If you want to get a quick view of where your environment stands, you can install the SuiteScript 2.1 assessment bundle directly in your NetSuite account.
To install the assessment bundle:
- Navigate to Customization > SuiteBundler > Search & Install Bundles.
- Search for and install Bundle ID: [PI || RightMetrics].
- Review the included saved searches to evaluate your script inventory.
The bundle includes two pre-configured saved searches:
- Summary View: [PI || SuiteScripts Scheduled for Deprecation (Summary)] — Offers an executive-level overview of script counts grouped by version (1.0, 2.0, and 2.1).
- Detail View: [PI || SuiteScripts Scheduled for Deprecation] — Lists every individual script, record deployment, script type, and current API version.
Important: These searches may include scripts from third-party SuiteApps and managed bundles. Third-party vendors are responsible for updating their own packages to SuiteScript 2.1. Your review should primarily focus on proprietary custom scripts maintained by your organization.
